School

Lots of things to do tonight. I found out I can enroll at NSU before taking the OGET, so I need to fill out an application for that. But, before that, I need to file the FAFSA again to hopefully qualify for another Pell grant. We made more last year than the year before, but we're also going up an extra kid..

I was looking at the majors on NSU-BA's website and I think I'm going to change from Bachelor of Science in Elementary Ed. to Bachelor of Art in Elementary Ed. and be an art teacher. I think I'd enjoy it more. It's entirely in the air though. But I think I'd be less likely to dread doing art things with kids every day than I might be otherwise.. Dunno.

I need to register for the OGET. I missed the deadline for the test in April, so I have to take the June test - which is the morning of my friends' wedding - which, fortunately, is at night.

I felt like a complete idiot this morning. I forgot my class time. I thought class was at 9, so I left this morning half starved with a peanut butter sandwich and a bottle of pink lemonade in my hand around 8:55. I walk into class, and there's some strange teacher-looking lady. First thought was that we had a sub for some reason.. odd. She asks me "Are you in the class after this? This class hasn't ended yet." Then I thought maybe I hadn't noticed daylight savings changing or something. I looked at the clock and it said 9:11. Suddenly it hit me.......................class is at 9:30. I told her Sorry, I just confused myself.

So irritated. I could have had a full breakfast. I could have nursed J osiah one last time. Oh well. Extra participation points for me. Woo. My grade has gone up from a 74 to a 77. I love having the homework and review answers online. Helps that we're finishing the lab work in lab too, I never remembered to work on it at home and remembered last minute in lab, and tried to get the questions answered while he was explaining that day's lab. But my grade is going up, so it's all good now. Maybe I'll escape with a B.

I'm planning to take General Botany this summer. No worries about cutting up animal parts. Nasty.
