Choking

King J and Prince D went out to play Laser Quest with Prince D and 2 of the older cousins. Before he left he gave Prince J some Frosted miniwheats. Usually this wouldn't be an issue (other than I don't like King J giving him that much sugar!) but he's had honey nut miniwheats before without any problems. But this time, Prince J was freaking out about being left at home, and started choking on partially chewed up miniwheat.

King J told me to "get him" as he was going out the door, but I don't think he realized Prince J was choking on it. At first when I saw Prince J I thought he was throwing up, but realized what it was when I got closer. I pulled as much out of his mouth and throat as I could and gave him some whacks on the back, but I don't think there's any more I can get out. I think he inhaled some of it because it's made his breathing tight. He's got a slight wheeze and a cough now and then.

Poor kiddo. He's not getting any more miniwheats - upset or not. He's watching yet another round of Finding Nemo now, with his favorite babydoll, his "Nemo" pillow, and Prince A's Infantino octopus.
