Baby things

J osiah's really close to walking. He's been spending most of today practicing standing up without pulling up on something. He's really proud of himself too. Earlier he took about 5 steps to J ason to beg for food. He also crawled completely onto the fireplace hearth, and tried to nosedive into the bathtub after the bottle of baby shampoo he put in there. I caught him just before he tipped over into the tub. We've got this really long cardboard box leftover from D akota's party; J osiah had pushed it over by the coffee table and started trying to climb onto the table from the box. He's tried to climb onto the table without the box. Sometime this evening he climbed completely on the box and fell off onto his butt. He wasn't hurt but it ticked him off and probably scared him a bit.

The new baby is growing, but I'm not. Not gaining weight anyway, I'm about the same weight I was 2 weeks ago, and that was down a pound by the dr scales. so I'm actually about up 8 lbs by my scale. I'm bigger, but not big enough for maternity clothes; I had to wear a belt today to keep my maternity pants up. Kinda sad.

I'm making a universal gift registry for this baby. The only thing I don't really like is that it has no option for posting a picture, which is always helpful. Ah well.
