Sleeping

I actually got to sleep in my own bed last night. Josiah's doing better sleeping in the playpen.

He doesn't sleep all the way through the night, but I can handle getting up a couple of times a night for him.

Some nights he has a fit about going to bed, but last night he laid down and rolled around for a while until he fell asleep. He woke up around midnight and was good for a little bit of graham cracker and his water. Then he woke up around 4:30. I nursed him back to sleep and put him back in the playpen. He slept until a little after 8.

It was especially nice because twice this week he's decided that going back to sleep after 5:30 is not acceptable.. and cries for me to get him out. Meanwhile, I'm on the couch trying to block him out so I can get sleep.

The couch is too soft to sleep on comfortably, since I can't lay flat on my stomach or back, so my back is all achy. Plus there's just not much room. Unfortunately, I found out last night I've hit that point of being big enough that even sleeping on the bed is uncomfortable so my back is aching anyway.


Any bets on when the baby comes?
